Jibu Films
Jibu Jin is a Chinese Tibetan filmmaker and photographer currently based in Los Angeles/Chengdu. He works with varies mediums, 16mm film, digital cameras, VHS.
With a passion for exploring different narrative styles. Jibu has directed experimental short films and documentaries. He participated as a cultural ambassador in a China-U.S. exchange program and he had experience in writing and directing for theater. Also Jibu participated as an invited artist in the Migratory Birds 300 event at the 2021 Aranya Theater Festival.
Artist Statement
My work explores the cosmos and landscapes as we see them -- the quiet moments that define our lives and the landscapes that shape them.

Bridging the gap between human-constructed narratives and the often-ignored stories of the non-human. The vastness of the universe and the landscape below are not just backdrops in my films but active participants.
